This October, 2024 will mark the 25th anniversary of Matts Models! Twenty Five!
I've launched this FREE Forum to celebrate the momentous milestone. I'm going to be publishing a lengthy retrospective here on the board which will include never-seen-before stories, anecdotes, photos, videos and hopefully your participation!
The Internet, Adult entertainment, technology and our culture are virtually unrecognizable from when I started this site. MM is a prehistoric archive, a chronology of events during a time gone by.
In June, 2010 I wrote this in my shooting journal:
“For me the Glory Days of shooting naked girls, Nude Modeling and Online Porn are gone.
I’m referring to the time starting in 1997 when “Amateur” sites were in their infancy and there was so little competition. We didn’t have the giant social networking sites (like Facebook with 350 million users) and you really had to dig to find new nude models. All of us dove in with little or no understanding about the Internet. Most models figured their parents wouldn't ever use the Internet – so they wouldn’t be found out. There’s no mystery any more. Everybody knows everything everybody else knows and where to find it and corporations have taken over Porn.
It was sneaky fun and we all had a great time shooting it."
The stories here are a completely candid account of my experience in online Porn, from it’s birth to the rapidly evolving billion dollar industry it is now. It was an incredible non-stop, exciting ride.
I met the most interesting people from all walks of life from meth addicts to celebrities. It was a learning experience every single day filled with sex, drugs, humor, drama, heartbreak and tragedy.
Ultimately my journey ended up being essentially an in depth sociological documentation on a segment of our society, while hugely popular, is greatly misunderstood and mostly falsely represented.
Even with the negative aspects of the industry (the headaches, the obstacles, the nutcases) I wouldn’t trade my time in the business for all the money in the world.
One of the most fascinating features of all the material I shot through the years are the Audition Videos - actually a misleading label. In hindsight they are conversations between me and the models about their personal lives, their experiences in the adult industry and many other subjects with tons of funny and interesting references specific to that moment in time.

Finally, I propose the question:
What is the future of Matt's Models?
Is it relevant anymore? What to do with it? Maybe its time to turn into it a memorial fan page? I have some burning thoughts about that which I'll share here.
